Me again with another burger that does not contain beef lol. But who needs beef when you’ve got lean ground chicken loaded up with minced jalapeño, cilantro, garlic, turmeric, cumin, and curry powder?! Seeeeee, I knew you’d be behind these delicious curry chicken burgers!!! I’ve topped mine with a simple tahini maple sauce that is basically DRINKABLE because it’s so good so really don’t skimp on the sauce. You’re welcome 🙂

- 1 tsp ground cumin
- ½ tsp ground turmeric
- ½ tsp yellow curry powder

- romaine leaves and sliced red onion for serving
for the maple tahini sauce:
- 2 tbsps tahini
- 2 tbsps lime juice

- 1 tbsp dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tbsp warm water
- 1 tsp dried ground ginger
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- healthy pinch salt and pepper
Instructions
- Combine ground chicken, minced garlic, minced jalapeño, minced cilantro, cumin, turmeric, curry powder, salt, and pepper in a medium bowl then mix until well combined. Form mixture into 4 equal size patties then place on a plate in the fridge to chill for about 15 minutes.
- While the patties are chilling, make your maple tahini sauce: Whisk together all sauce ingredients in a measuring cup until smooth.
- Heat olive oil in a large non-stick skillet over medium heat. Once oil is hot, add the chilled patties then let them cook for 5-7 minutes on side one or until golden then flip and cook for an additional 5-7 minutes on the second side or until cooked through.
