YUP… I’m jumping on the frozen rosé/wine train and I’m not ashamed about it… #bandwagon
It’s just TOO GOOD y’all.
I’d been hearing about frosé (aka frozen rosé) for a couple months now but never really took the time to realize what it was. Then on Memorial Day, my friend Meghan had this fabulous frozen pineapple wine concoction on the boat… I took a sip, scratch that, a GULP and became obsessed. It tasted beyond amazing and SO FRESH (#waytogomegs). I went home that night and researched the crap out of this new frozen wine phenomenon.
Basic formula = wine + frozen fruit blended in blender… SO EASY. Am I right?!
You can use any wine and frozen fruit combination you’d like. I chose to use rosé so that I could call it frosé… because that’s FUN. I also decided to add a little elderflower liqueur to mine because it pairs nicely with fruit but feel free to leave it out if you don’t have any on hand.
As for the fruit, I had a bag of mixed frozen fruit including strawberries, peaches, mango, and pineapple. I decided to go with just strawberries and peaches because I thought their sweeter flavors would mesh better with my rosé, compared to the tropical tangy flavors of mango and pineapple (those would pair better with white wine, in my opinion). Do what you like though, yo. Next time, I want to try adding blueberries and blackberries to a sauvignon blanc or pinot grigio. I’ll keep you posted on that 🙂
So there we have it… Rosé + St. Germain (Elderflower liqueur) + strawberries + peaches blended into a fabulous slushy Summer cocktail!
Not that you really need a recipe for this but… here you go anyways:
Ingredients
- 1 bottle (750 ml) of your favorite rosé
- 1/3 cup elderflower liqueur (I used St. Germain)
- 1 1/2 cups frozen strawberries
- 1 1/2 cups frozen peaches
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a high-speed blender then blend until smooth. If the mixture is too thin, add a few more pieces of frozen fruit. If the mixture is too thick, add a little more elderflower liqueur.
- Divide mixture between four glasses and garnish with extra fruit slices... ENJOY!

Did you guys notice that one of my glasses is actually garnished with a slice of pineapple? Yeah… fail. I thought that was a small chunk of peach… didn’t realize it wasn’t until after my frosé photoshoot. Lol oh well. IT’S FRIDAY.
If you try this recipe, let me know! Leave a comment or tag a photo #appetitesanonymous on instagram!! I’d love to see your frosé in action. Byyyeeeee, friends!
