Servings 6 small sandwiches

Ingredients

  • 12 slices small to medium french bread or 6 large slices*
  • 5 oz boursin cheese (can sub cream cheese or goat cheese)
  • 12 tbsps strawberry jam
  • 6 slices prosciutto
  • healthy pinch salt and pepper
  • cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Spread boursin cheese on one side of all the slices of bread then top each slice with 1 tbsp of strawberry jam. Fold prosciutto a few times to make it the same size as the bread then add it to 6 of the slices then sprinkle with salt and pepper. Top these with the non-prosciutto pieces.
  2. Heat a skillet of medium-low heat then coat the pan with cooking spray. Add all the grilled cheeses to the pan then spray the top switch cooking spray. Cook for 2-4 minutes on the first side or until the cheese is starting to melt and the bread is golden. Flip the sandwiches then cook for an additional 2-4 minutes on side two. Enjoy!

Recipe Notes

  • You could use 6 large slices of bread with the same amount of the other ingredients to make 3 larger grilled cheeses. Cook time would be slightly longer.
