Peanut butter, chips, bourbon, and blondes 😉
Don’t worry, there aren’t chips or blondes in these fab peanut butter chip bourbon blondies THOUGH I feel like chips would be a great ingredient in some future blondies >> salty and sweet, yes please!
Okay, back to the real recipe… these peanut butter chip bourbon blondies start with the perfect blondie recipe with BROWN BUTTER, SUGAR, eggs, flour, vanilla extract, and salt then we add the best things ever >> peanut butter chips and bourbon!!! Swoon. Creamy smoky goodness inside a delectable chewy blondie.

Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons cream of tartar
- 1 cup brown butter*
- 2 cups white sugar
- 2 large eggs, room temp
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 tablespoons bourbon
- 1 bag (10oz) peanut butter chips
- 2 tablespoons coarse sugar
- cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350F. Line a 9x9 baking tin with parchment paper then spray with cooking spray.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, salt, and cream of tartar until well combined.
In a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, cream together brown butter and sugar on high for 1 minute Next, add in the eggs, vanilla, and bourbon then mix until well incorporated, about 1 minute.
- Fold flour mixture into butter/sugar/bourbon mixture then mix until well combined. Scoop batter into prepared baking tin then sprinkle coarse sugar over top.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes! Blondies are ready once golden brown or when a knife inserted into the center comes out pretty much clean. Allow blondies to cool completely before cutting into squares then enjoy!
