You know what I love?! Besides these cashew covered cream cheese grapes that is…
Appetizers!!!!!
Ask any of my friends… Any time I have the choice between bringing a side, appetizer or dessert to a party, I ALWAYS bring an appetizer!!! I think it’s the mini aspect that I love so much. Appetizers are tiny bites with the perfect opportunity to create a BIG flavor profile. They are such a fun challenge to create something little with a big pop!!
You know what I love more than appetizers?!
EASY appetizers!!!! You thought I was going to say Tom there didn’t you? Or at least Montana? Hahaha got you. But yes, I do love them too!
Seriously though, these cashew covered cream cheese grapes are the PERFECT easy appetizer. They involve three ingredients (and yes you guessed it): grapes, cream cheese, and cashews!! The sweetness of the grapes is mellowed out with the silky cream cheese then we top it all off with salty crushed cashews. The texture is also my favorite: crunchy outside, creamy middle, and juicy inside! Ready for the recipe?! Let’s do this!
CASHEW COVERED CREAM CHEESE GRAPES
Ingredients
- 15 oz red seedless grapes
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 1 1/2 cups salted cashews
- toothpicks
Instructions
- Place the block of cream cheese in bowl, microwave 1-2 minutes (stirring half way through). The cheese should be soft enough to easily dip and coat the grapes.
- Place the cashews in a food processor. Pulse 5-6 times or until only small bits remain.
- Line up three bowls on the counter: one with the grapes, one with the warmed cream cheese, and one with the crushed cashews. Poke a grape with the toothpick, dip it in the cream cheese and swirl around to coat. Next dip the cream cheese coated grape in the crushed cashews until completely covered then place on a serving tray. Continue until all the grapes are done!
I’ve tried this recipe with goat cheese instead of cream cheese and it was also amazing!! Next time you need to bring an appetizer to a party, you should totally make these!!! They are always a huge hit and like I said earlier.. They are SO EASY. Easy and delicious. Two of my favorite types of recipes!
